Summit: The board game is a survival game that, thanks to its double-sided game board and variable mechanics, can be played competitively, cooperatively, or solo.
In a competitive game, players climb and descend the treacherous mountain while managing their resources, forging their path, overcoming obstacles, and attempting to outlast their opponents. Summit features a unique karma system that allows players to actively help or hinder their opponents - but it also affects the final game score. For a few extra points, you might share some of your food or precious oxygen, or perhaps you can afford to lose a few points, so you'll choose to cut their rope and watch them disappear into the mountain.
In a solo or cooperative game, players must now work together to conquer the mountain and survive the expedition. Summit is such a grueling game that it suffices if only one team member survives the entire ascent and descent. It's unlikely that everyone will return from this expedition anyway.
With over 190 unique cards, nearly 100 tiles, unique resource management and tracking on asymmetric dual-layer boards, and the ability to customize your difficulty and game length, Summit ensures you never play the same game twice!
The cooperative mode has received the "Seal of Excellence" from The Dice Tower, and the competitive mode was awarded by Man vs Meeple.
